Too Dark for the Light: A Water Kascade Novel

A trailer full of dead women shocks Toronto.

Detective Sergeant Water Kascade doesn't want to get involved. He's months away from retirement.

But when a young officer pleads for his help, his sense of duty reignites. What begins as a reluctant favour spirals into a covert, high-stakes mission to cleanse the police service of its deepest rot: corruption within its own ranks. Kascade uncovers a chilling conspiracy involving the reactivation of the "Courier Service," a shadowy network where corrupt cops provide protection for criminals and anyone with deep pockets.

Armed with unprecedented technology and resources but haunted by the weight of his past, Kascade dives into the city's underbelly, navigating a tangled web of betrayal and deception that threatens to consume everything he's fought for. The rules no longer apply, and the line between right and wrong blurs as he hunts down those pulling the strings from the shadows.

As Kascade digs deeper, he's forced to make choices that will either cleanse the system-or destroy him in the process.
