This is a tale of two girls who were born on the same day in the same place, but grew up in dramatically different households. It is a comparison of the torture of having a narcissistic mother and enabler father and the validation and support that comes from nurturing parents. This story gives voice to the agony of invalidation, the confusion of manipulation and the longing of a child for the love of a parent. It also demonstrates the comfort, confirmation and care that are provided by a nurturing parent or a loving friend.
