Two by Two Crochet

Bendy Carter grew up surrounded by professional artists. As a child she was taught a new craft each summer. But it wasn't until she saw her aunt crocheting that, at the age of 10, she embraced her heritage. The idea that one could use a stick with a hook on the end to turn a simple piece of string into just about anything created endless possibilities in her mind. Bendy began designing for family and friends, and in 1999, started submitting designs for publication. Hundreds of her patterns have been featured in books, free leaflets, and magazines. She has designed for celebrities and to date has written 18 crochet pattern books.
