Beverly Mayne Kienzle, Ph.D., a retired Harvard Divinity School professor, has published numerous scholarly articles and books, including five on the medieval visionary, Hildegard of Bingen. Dr. Kienzle grew up surrounded by manuscripts as her mother tirelessly completed the publication of four volumes of Virginia Cary Hudson's writings.
