Matsumoto, Nancy: - Nancy Matsumoto is an award-winning freelance writer. Her byline has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Time, Newsweek, People magazine, and The Los Angeles Times,, NPR, and The Toronto Globe and Mail, among other publications. She co-authored Exploring the World of Japanese Craft Sake: Rice, Water, Earth and Displaced: Manzanar 1942-1945: The Incarceration of Japanese Americans. She is the editor of By the Shore of Lake Michigan, an English-language translation of a book of tanka poetry written by her grandparents, forthcoming from UCLA's Asian American Studies Press.
