The chapters of the workbook follow the same order as those of the main text of Universal Grammar of Story(TM). However, a "prerequisites" chapter has been added for writers who have only a vague idea for a story and need to develop a more concrete grasp of it before putting it through the paces of the chapters to come. As in the main text, chapters 1-4 address personal, social, and mythological drives calling us to write and provide exercises in responding to these drives by enhancing our emotional and intuitive intelligence to match the lifelong training we've given our logical mind. Chapters 5 & 6 delve into the nature and power of language and direct the writer in how simple changes in our everyday speech can dramatically alter our storytelling. Chapters 7-10 expand on the core narrative theories of storytelling with practical exercises in structure, chemistry, and timing. Finally, the remaining two chapters 11 & 12 explore humanity's mythological yearnings in storie
