After World War II, the land of Palestine was divided, sparking violence, displacement, and decades of suffering. Decades later, two young journalists-Hannah, a Jewish girl from New York with Holocaust-survivor roots, and Zain, a Palestinian American from Chicago-find themselves on opposite sides of history.

From the classrooms of Columbia University to the war-torn streets of Lebanon, and finally to the heart of Gaza in 2024, Hannah and Zain confront their beliefs, their pasts, and the reality of a conflict that refuses to end.
