Dr. Rodelo Torres Salburo is currently an Associate Professor in Management, College of Business and Economics at Aksum University, Axum City, Tigray Region, Federal Republic of Ethiopia. Dr. Salburo holds the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Business Management from the University of Bohol, Tagbilaran City, a Master's degree in Business Administration and Bachelor's Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management both from the University of the Visayas, Cebu City. Dr. Salburo was a Banquet Service Coordinator at Marriott Hotel, Cebu City. The teaching career began when became a Hotel and Restaurant Management faculty at the University of Visayas, Cebu City, and have served for 7 years as the Dean of the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management at La Salle University, Ozamiz City and was appointed by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) as a Regional Quality Assessor of the Hotel and Restaurant Management and Tourism Management programs of Region X. Dr. Salburo was also appointed in February 2014 by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) as Competency Assessor in the National Certificates (NC II) of the Food and Beverage Services, Bartending, Housekeeping, and Front Office. Dr. Salburo is the Founding President of the Council of Hospitality Management Deans and Heads (COHMDAH) in Region X Northern Mindanao, and also served for 2 years as the Dean of the School of Culinary, Hotel and Restaurant Services Technology at Northwestern Mindanao State College of Science and Technology, Tangub City. At present, Dr. Salburo is an ASEAN Master Trainer and Master Assessor in Hotel Housekeeping, a Hotel Business Operations Consultant of Sugbu Suites at Cebu City, and a member of the Council of Hotel and Restaurant Educators of the Philippines. Dr. Salburo is an accomplished resource speaker of various seminars-workshops in Strategic Management, Hotel Management and Food Safety in the Philippines. These includes Mass Training and Skills Enhancement for Grade 10 Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) Teachers, Seminar on Table Etiquette, Seminar on Food Hygiene, Sanitation and Safety with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point, Bar Service and Wine Appreciation and Alternative Track Career Symposia.
