Amidst the English expansion and the spread of Christianity throughout Europe, a young sailor, Beaux Morisette, sets off on his first trade expedition as the Captain of a ship said to be making contact with a new port. Things become complicated when he and his crew are ambushed by a crew of notorious pirates with a mission to steal whatever valuable trade they're heading toward and kill their oppressors. Things become complicated quickly when Reeve, the Captain of the Xion Pirates, recognizes that there is far more to the English crew than he'd expected. Over several weeks, chaos, fear, infatuation, rage, unexpected dynamics, and unprecedented understanding become the center of two reluctantly united crews against one common enemy.
