Montgomery, Carol Lemley: - Carol L Montgomery (1943-2022) graduated from Armstrong State College (Georgia Southern University) and received her PhD from University of California, Irvine. She taught at St John's University, Methodist University, Campbell University and Fayetteville State University. She volunteered in NC coastal environmental programs and with public recreation sites of the US Department of the Interior. She lived in Kure Beach, NC with her husband of 52 years.
