Deader's Day

Follow Anika Hart as she starts a revolution. The world became unrecognisable in 2056 when a government known as "The Protectorate" came to power in response to a mysterious illness that infected the population over forty. To combat the spread, America was separated into carefully controlled regions where every adult is accounted for, and a fortieth birthday signifies death. Anika's parents were seized several years ago, and she has lived alone ever since. She still clutches the small hope that, somehow, they have survived, and when word spreads that there may be more to the so-called "deaders" illness than the world has been led to believe, Anika decides to make the world unrecognisable once more. With the help of trusted and unexpected allies, Anika recalls how she became the catalyst for a revolution she believed in, even when she barely believed in herself.
