Go on an adventure to Machu Picchu at the center of Incan Civilization in 16th Century Peru... In the distance, two bodies lie on the ground, their hands clasped together in death. Ocideron's body shakes with rage and grief. Never again would he hear his father's voice call his name or see his mother's smile. From the cave's entrance, he sees his betrothed, his one true love, cuffed with iron links around her delicate wrists. More than anything, he wants to bolt from his hiding spot and rescue her. He knows it would be a fool's errand. If he has any chance of rescuing her, he must be patient now. Her captors shove her and the others from his village forward, marching them east. He etches the grisly faces of her captors into his memory. He will rescue her. He will avenge his parents. First, he must get to the City of the Sun God Inti. He must get the Army of the Sun God to fight with him. As his love disappears into the hot sun, he turns in the direction of Machu Picchu. What Ocideron does not know, but will discover, is that this battle for his true love is a war for the survival of all of the Incan People. He holds the future of his people in his hands.
