Dr. Tekbiyik Ersoy has graduated from Electrical and Electronics Engineering department in Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) in 2005. After that, she completed her MSc degree at the same department in EMU in 2007. Then, she has completed her PhD (Doctorate) at Electrical and Electronics Engineering department in Middle East Technical University (METU) in 2012. In 2013, she started working as an instructor in Cyprus International University. Since 2014, she has been an Assistant Professor at Energy Systems Engineering Program in Cyprus International University. Throughout the years, she has taught many different courses related with energy systems, wind energy, energy policies, smart grid, optimization, Matlab programming, etc. Over the years, she has supervised many MSc students and one PhD student. She has previously written two book chapters.
