Hawkins, Sandra: - Sandra Hawkins is qualified in many disciplines. She is a chemist, banker, lawyer, teacher, apologist, author, wife, mother of three and a qualified Indian head massage therapist! However, she also has a real passion for food and is an exceptional chef. Combining her love for mixing things up in a chemistry lab with her natural gift as a supertaster, Sandra has always loved to experiment with cooking. From her very first Food and Nutrition lessons at an English school (Guildford High) to exploring Indian and African cuisine while travelling and living overseas, Sandra is particularly passionate about using cooking to bring people together and to seize life's delights and transform them into moments. This book reflects her passion for food and her unique ability to simplify complex recipes, so people can easily enjoy traditional English teatime treats at home for the first time. Sandra is married to songwriter/producer/author, Simon Hawkins and has three beautiful children, Poppy, Monty and Barty. They live in a quiet village on a beach on the south coast of England, in West Sussex.
