She has written for numerous publications, including Artforum, Art in America, the Huffington Post, and KCET Artbound, and is a contributing editor to the Los Angeles Review of Books. Buckley is a professor in the School of Art + Design and director of the Institute for the Arts, Humanities, and Social Justice at San Diego State University.
