Ulrich Pardey, Ruhr-Universit: at Bochum, Kai F. Wehmeier, University of California, Irvine Ulrich Pardey was awarded a doctorate in philosophy from the University of Frankfurt/Main in 1973. He held professional musician positions in Cologne and Dinslaken. He was appointed as Professor of Logic and Philosophy of Language at Ruhr-Universit: at Bochum in 1998, and has been Emeritus Professor since 2012. Kai F. Wehmeier holds a doctorate in mathematical logic from the University of Münster (1996), and a master's degree in philosophy from Ruhr-Universit: at Bochum (1999). He received post-doctoral appointments in M: unster, Leiden, and T: ubingen, and held faculty positions at the University of California, Irvine (2002). He is currently Dean's Professor of Logic and Philosophy of Science and Professor of Language Science at the University of California, Irvine.
