The title 'Giving Leadership' is a deliberate play on words, using the word 'Giving' as both an adjective and a verb. Leadership is something that is only discovered when it is given. There is action required. The nature of that action is defined in the early chapters of the book. Secondly 'Giving' is an adjective qualifying the kind of leadership in which I believe. It has a quality of sacrificial servanthood and is manifest in serving other people in their journey toward their full potential. That is what is unpacked in sections two and three of the book.
