Author Tayo Mabadeje introduces us to Dara. Dara goes to school and is very smart, but has no friends. Dara has no friends because is not a nice little girl. She is constantly saying bad words and refusing to listen to anyone, including her teacher. She doens't even listen to her parents. Everyone around Dara is sad because of her behavior. Everything and everyone is affected by Dara's behavior. One day her mother has a serious talk with her. Dara listens to her mother and changes the way she acts at school. She starts to listen to her teacher and share her toys. Dara's parents, friends and teacher al notice a change in Dara. Suddenly everyone wants to play with Dara now. Dara likes how she feels when she is sharing and loves having friends.
