Former collegiate athlete Ellie Shaw loves coaching her enthusiastic eight-year-old son, Braden. When Colt Gibson, an All-American outfielder from Ellie's rival college, rents the apartment above her barn to escape an NCAA recruiting scandal, he forms a bond with her son while helping to guide Braden's struggling team.
