When a little goose misplaces his beloved blanket just before bedtime, he goes on a "wild goose chase" with his mother in hopes of finding it. Along the way, he learns what hope is, that his blanket is a special symbol of the haven of strength and comfort we all need.

"Hope is a Blanket" was written for families struggling with grief or loss - be it a miscarriage, death of a loved one or pet, a friend moving far away, trauma associated with foster or adoptive experiences - to show us how we can find hope amidst and beyond our struggles.
