There are four special insects and bugs that Humphrey, his family, and some of his snail community visit. Each one of Humphrey's snail friends has a complaint of their own. When they all make their way to visit their special friends, they realize they have nothing really to complain about. Their special friends, though they each have their own disability and personal struggle, remain positive and encourage each other to look at the good things in life. Together, they come to realize what it means to be thankful in all things.

Sandra L. O'Grady works full time with adults who have developental disabilities for the past 19 years. She lives in Holley, NY with her loving husband, Mike. Her artistic daughter Jacqueline, and German Shepherd named Captain.
