E'lia Brown grew up in Muncie, Indiana and was raised in Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Once a confused and uninspired college student, God completely changed her life. After abandoning and completely dismantling the "safe" plan she had for her life, she followed God's leadership to write her first book. While still in school, college taught her something 19 years of church and Sunday school didn't; religion is not the same as a relationship with God. The eye opening "college experience" took her from lukewarm and lost to on fire and walking with purpose. She aspires to support and encourage many others that have gotten lost through the challenges of beginning and maintaining a confident walk with God.
