Ideology and History. Three Essays on Eastern Europe and Contemporary Western Narratives
This volume comprises three critical ess ays, which refer to current iss ues in Europe, the relations between Western and Eastern Europe, the position and situation of Romania within European countries, and the position of the author referring to the current ideologies that in the opinion of the author do not suit these eastern countries, as they ignore the history and the social and political reality of East-European countries.
In any heated conversation on ideologies, on activism, on extreme views of the left or the right, it is always a good idea to bring arguments from two other spheres: history and human experience. History, of course, is interpretable, there are many things that his/her story will lack. The only aspect that it never lacks is some kind of perspective.
