Fanny Burney, also known by her nom de plume, Madame D'Arblay, accepted the post of Keeper of the Robes for the queen consort of King George III in 1786, going on to develop a close friendship with Queen Charlotte and her daughters. Discover this classic illustration of Georgian society, now in a new edition.
