Dave Vaughan wrote the screenplay of the award-winning film, Hokum, directed by Jared Bratt. Advocate, was another film written by him. His debut novel, Ballet of Deception, was published in 2023 and his short story, "Unscheduled Departure" appeared in the Hill Spirits VI anthology in 2024.
