Geof White began working when he was 14 years old for $3.35/hour. When he graduated from high school four years later, he was earning $50/hour and paid for his college degree from Michigan State University by working for himself cleaning windows. As a teenager he marketed, advertised, and provided the best customer service he could to every customer. After graduating from college, he worked for ten years as an employee...putting profits in other people's pockets. Now Geof owns his own businesses putting the profits in his own pocket. In the past ten years Geof's businesses have provided employment to over 30 families and has experienced double digit growth even in economically challenging times. Now, Geof White is on a mission...to teach students how to work for themselves so they can graduate from college debt-free. Geof wrote Lemonade Stand Economics starting with one thought, "If a high school student did what I did to make money with some guidance and without making the same mistakes I did, paying for college would be easy." He takes his personal experience as a teen working for himself, mixes in his life experience, his business acumen and a pitcher full of passion to provide students a sweet recipe for a debt-free degree.
