He trained as a physician in Australia, with subsequent specialist training in the UK, and served as the 10th General Director of OMF International (formerly the China Inland Mission) from 2015 to 2023, and currently serves as the OMF Global Ambassador. He is actively involved in missionary training and preaching ministry, serving on the Langham Partnership International Council and facilitating training in Langham's preaching programme.
