Gomez Andrea, Miguel: - Cartoonist, playwright, theater director and actor.He was born in Madrid (Spain) in 1960. He graduated in Nautical Sciences in 1980 and spent four years sailing in the Merchant Navy as a pilot, leading an itinerant life that took him around half the world. Starting in 1990 he began to develop a new professional life in the world of theater and comics. Passionate about history since he was a child, both Spanish and international, he uses this as a basis for most of his work, both in the world of comics and theater. Stories of towns, places and events, biographies of historical figures, adaptations of literary classics, fictions of a historical setting...History becomes the clay with which he models most of his comic and theatrical work.In 1995 he founded Estudio la Recua S.L., a company specialized in historical dissemination through the artistic medium.After a few years working as an actor in various companies, he began writing and directing historical theater. To date, he has staged and performed around twenty of his works in different locations throughout the national territory. In the world of publications: comics and books, he has published more than sixty titles for public institutions and publishers.
