Across the country there are about sixty elite high school wrestlers who are recruited to compete at top ten NCAA Division 1 wrestling programs per year. It is a far smaller number of those athletes who pursue a second sport. There is only one who has also earned a scholarship to play football at The University of Michigan - as a 5'6" running back. Mike Milano had reached this impossible dream. First carry, in front of 111,000 Michigan fans - six yards.Twelve months later he sat helplessly as his name rolled across the ESPN ticker: "Michigan running back, Mike Milano, Charged with a Felony - Indefinitely suspended from the Michigan Football Team."
