Morrison, Alice: - Alice Morrison is an adventurer, writer and TV presenter based in Morocco where she has lived for ten years. She describes Marrakech as 'magical, soul-stealing and infuriating all at the same time. It is a place you can't rush.' She is the author of four books: Adventures in Morocco, Walking with Nomads, Dodging Elephants and Morocco to Timbuktu. She has crossed the whole of Morocco on foot with six camels and three Amazigh guides. She speaks fluent Arabic and is learning Tachelhit. She is the first woman to walk the Draa River. Her BBC TV series include Morocco to Timbuktu and Arabian Adventures.
