My journey to writing this book of poems has taken a long and winding road through my life. I never believed in my gift and kept most poems to myself...only reading one for specific causes. One day in the 90's I was asked to submit a poem to a magazine...and I did with Family Trees.

I came home one day to a full mailbox of people from all over the U.S. telling me I helped heal their family. The phone did not stop for months and I personally got to speak to many. Some brought it to a family reunion or mailed it to a relative who was estranged. I was in awe of the passion and compassion that the poem resonated in their hearts and souls. Shortly after that I was asked to write a poem for a convention...after reading it to a standing ovation...a young priest came on stage and said "Lady..you sure are a tough act to follow"... The poem is Peace Love and Understanding....and finally here I am...author of a book of poems..almost 30 years later!
