Notes d'Amour d'un Medecin de Femme Noire is a raw, honest, and vulnerable reflection of Dr. Apryl Brant's arduous journey navigating the multiple relationships in her life--her relationship with her husband, her attractive coworker, her family and friends, and ultimately, herself and God.

Throughout her marriage, Dr. Brant did not receive the love from her husband that she consistently gave him. She made multiple sacrifices and went above and beyond in her relationship, only to be made to feel inferior and unappreciated. Nonetheless, as a devout Christian, Dr. Brant believes in the sanctity of marriage and wants to give it her all. When a male coworker with whom she feels a deep connection joins her medical practice, Dr. Brant is forced to confront complex feelings and make difficult choices.

This is a story of how a woman's faith in God ultimately leads her to make the right decisions for herself--a beautiful display of how God communicates to us in a variety of ways, and how it is up to us to get in touch with ourselves and listen to this communication to find our true path and purpose in life.
