During the pandemic Jones felt her middle school aged son's social world shift into the virtual phenomenon of gaming. It caught her by surprise after investing in a new gaming system. Instead of sitting back and letting her son's development drift into a virtually distant experience, she got a grip on her thinking and chose to overstand the game. Together, Jones and her son rewrote their life story by Getting Above the MisEducation about gaming. Now those same cheat codes are available to the world and it's time to win!

Shartia Jones, a former Dean of Students in elementary, holds a bachelor's degree in Corporate, Interpersonal Communication, a master's degree in education, and certificates in TV & Radio Broadcasting, and Life Coaching. She is a published author, public speaker, and passionate about self-love and inner healing. She expresses many of her passions through teaching dance fitness classes, recording voice overs for prominent Chicago radios stations WGCI & V103, hosting local T.V. shows, emceeing and hosting large events.
