He has worked as a Radio and TV broadcaster in the NBA and Major League Baseball. Jerry owns several ultra cycling records in the state of Colorado. In 2015, he and race partner Brad Cooper won the two person relay division of the Race Across America. A documentary film, Godspeed, was made about the duo's victory. He is the author of two other books. Chosen To Live and The Extravagant Gift.
