McDougall, Rory: - Rory McDougall has had a passion for birding since childhood, winning his first pair of binoculars at the age of 14 in a bird-nesting data essay competition at school in Zimbabwe. Rory later graduated from the University of Cape Town with a BSc in Zoology and Botany, thereafter working as a professional wildlife and bird guide and wildlife consultant. In 2015, he founded the first wildlife safari guide training school in Zambia. He is co-author of a series of digital books covering common Zambian flora and fauna for students and the digital application Birds of Zambia.
