In Africa, especially, the church's actions have devastated once-respectable wives, forcing many into prostitution and sending others to their certain death.

This book will equip missionaries and international audiences with the Biblical information they need to stop this destructive theology and behavior. All throughout Scripture, God has recognized the validity of both one-wife households and multi-wife households, and nowhere did He ever forbid a man from taking more than one wife. In many societies, marriage is the only system that provides for women in need, and the Church is robbing them of that provision because of the belief that "polygamy" is a sin. Thousands of churches have commanded husbands to divorce all their wives but one, even though God said, "I hate divorce!"

This book seeks to save lives, protect women from the cruelty of ignorant religious teachers, and provide an avenue for all Christian women to find Christian husbands.
