To cope, she dug deep into her Idaho-farm-girl roots and started getting up at four-thirty in the morning and running-and running some more. Over time, she ran close to one hundred marathons, in all fifty states.

Now, she takes vengeance on numerous underworld gangsters, street thugs, and escaped parolees, rescues innocent victims, and battles corporate intrigue-all while training to become an elite, nationally competitive runner.
