The tarot is divided into two groups: The Major Arcana, and the Minor Arcana. The journey of the Wonderer (Fool/Hero) is also reflected in the teachings of Kabbalah, known as the Tree of Life. The Kabbalah shows the path of the soul as it descends through the Tree of Life to become human and then transcends to spiritual oneness.
