Prior to the year 2000, there were hundreds of PMU (Premarin) Farms in the USA. Today, most of the Premarin Raw Material Urine is collected on a few PMU Farms located outside the USA. The pharmaceutical industry is slowly being replaced by synthetic and bioidenticals, so there is little need for PMU farms. There are still many women taking Premarin for Menopause conditions. In the past, there were thousands of women that benefited from Premarin. The Premarin Horse is also a story of love. The love of a Premarin Mare being sold to a feedlot for slaughter saved by United In Light, Draft Horse Sanctuary and an unexpected foal being born called Promise.
