"I have wonderful, precious memories of the church of my childhood." As a young girl she napped on the old wooden pews, covered by a handmade shawl. She fondly remembers hearing the rustling of the pages of Bibles turning, joining in singing the beloved hymns, and tasting favorite covered dishes at dinner-on-the-grounds Sundays. These memories bring us back to a simpler time when services did not have a time limit and people gathered at the altar to pray, meeting their Jesus there.
