Rose, Lisa: - Lisa Rose writes children's books, including the award-winning picture book, The Singer and the Scientist. Lisa is only five feet tall, so, the saguaro cactus looks very majestic to her. She lives near Detroit, Michigan where most of the time it is too cold for saguaros. But it is not cold for her dog, two cats, one fish, and three hermit crabs. Lisa loves to swim, practice yoga, and eat ice cream, just not at the same time.
