American author, Mike Spiritfair Marty, is an Iowan, with a contiguous body that currently sojourns in Milwaukee, WI. Philosophy, sex, and Jesus are three of a handful of the author's favorite difficult topics that he is continually trying to reconcile into an understandable whole.

If his dad had given him a sex talk at age 14, he probably would have turned out to be a mass murderer. Luckily no such talk occurred, so he only has become a 54-year-old virgin (who would consider having sex for the first time this afternoon if someone wished to join him).

Presumably, it doesn't make sense to other people (as it does to him) to have a theoretical understanding of sex before engaging in the act. He's still working on his personal theoretical understanding.
