"Sketching Savannah" is a collection of exquisite full-color ink-and-watercolor sketches featuring over a hundred places of interest and charm throughout downtown Savannah, Georgia. The sketches, organized in serendipitous constellations, are accompanied by reliably-sourced historic captions and neighborhood maps that draw the reader into the life and history of Savannah and its reputation as the Hostess City of the South. The sketches were made in a variety of settings, both en plein air and in studio and are connected by a unique fusion of both the historical and the contemporary that coexist in this historic and unique city.
