Ulf is one of a long line of famous Norse warriors. His ancestor Tyr was no ordinary man, but the Norse God of War. Ulf, however, knows nothing about being a warrior.
Everything changes when a stranger arrives on their small farm in Vikenfjord, slaughtering his entire family and stealing the one reminder of his father ... the legendary sword Ormstunga.
Filled with guilt for not protecting his family, Ulf sets off on a journey to avenge them. But the gods have other plans. They want chaos and the ill-fated farmer must serve as their weapon. Thrust into danger and fighting against the beliefs of his people, Ulf struggles for control of his own destiny and to reclaim his family's honour.
