Gemma, a seventeen-year-old orphan and empath, wants nothing more than to be normal. But after her older sister is killed in a hit-and-run, she discovers she can drain the energy out of any living thing. But doing so won't be easy when kids with powers are being hunted by something far, far worse than a ghost.
