Tara French is accustomed to chaos. She's been in and out of trouble her whole life, danced in strip clubs for years, and now she's on the run with $800,000 stolen from her mobster ex-boyfriend. Tara is lonely after months of hiding out, so when she sees the opportunity for a tryst with a handsome stranger at a bar, it's too tempting to resist.

David Price is always in control. His work as an intelligence agent, his moonlighting as a hired assassin, and his bland cover life in suburbia are planned down to the smallest detail. But when he hooks up with Tara, she pushes a button he normally keeps hidden, and Dave's submissive side comes out.
