The After is a collection of poems, depicting the healing process after one experiences heartbreak. There are phases we all go through while healing. The first phase feeling free, and on top of the world. The second phase is where the depression hits the hardest, making it hard to find purpose. The last phase before the healing is complete, is the reflection phase. This is where we reflect on the memories, but most importantly the lessons we learned through it all.
