Sydnei is a mom, wife, blogger, freelance writer, and now author, as The Heaven Phone is her first book. After having her first child, Sydnei found great comfort in connecting with other parents on early 2000-era blogs and message boards. Once her youngest started college, she started her blog, Mom in the Moment, to combine her passions for writing, parenting, and helping moms in all seasons of motherhood. Sydnei wrote The Heaven Phone with the same goal in mind: to help parents of young children navigate the heavy and challenging concept of death.
In her young adult years, Sydnei received two degrees from the University of Michigan, including a Master of Business Administration, and worked in marketing for ten years. You can find Sydnei at mom-in-the-moment.com, as well as on Facebook and Instagram as Mom in the Moment.
