Even after all we've been through, I still marvel at the oddity and wonder of this place, its halls filled with all walks of life. Sure, you have your usual high school stereotypes--the burners, the jocks, the drones, the preppies, the mean girls--but you also have a collection of artists, energy workers, and all-around misfits like me.

This is my place at Hollywood High School for the Performing Arts. Here, I can be a creature of exploration... open, discovering, accepted... finally... It was worth taking this chance.

Or was it? With my intuition quaking, I face the life-or-death nightmare of being hunted--and I mean that literally--by one of the most popular boys in school. Let's hope my metaphysical side, my boyfriend Trey, and my ragtag new group of friends are enough to pull me out of the fire.
