Mansfield, Carole: - As well as being a grandmother of six, Carole has an extensive background in psychotherapy, Sandplay therapy, and the training and supervision of counsellors, with a particular interest in children's mental health and well-being. Matching her work-life experience with her love of painting and storytelling, Carole originally made the 'little books' for her grandchildren. Through these books, she explored with them and supported their individual experiences, from bee-stings to new babies! Respectful of the individuality of every child and constantly amazed at the wisdom of small children, Carole's gentle undemanding approach engages the child, whether through formal sessions or through her books.
